Hello! I am Dr. Syed Ummar

Dr Syed Ummar Ibrahim has always focused his career and efforts on the mental wellbeing of people. He is a gold medalist in post-graduation in Psychiatry from Stanley Medical College and a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society. At present he is an Associate Professor at PSG, the institution he’s been a part of for 9 years as faculty. He has been a practicing psychiatrist in Coimbatore for over 15 years.

Syed Ummar has co-authored some breakthrough research work with fellow psychiatrists like Lakshmi Dorai, Shree Aarthi Ramanathan, Suganya Priyadharshini, Sushith Sugathan Chennatte, and Vijayalakshmi Balachandran among others. His works have been published in popular journals of psychology and psychiatry medicine such as:
